Simone was AMAZING! Service was impeccable & the food...PHENOMENAL! Atmosphere was quiet & inviting. I really can't complain about ANYTHING. Felt like I was back home. Quality carribean food, the best in San Diego.

I chose this place based on previous reviews and compared it to the others I'd read about online and I'm so glad I did. My food was so delicious (ackee /saltfish, rice and beans, cabbage, plantains) I didn't even stop eating to share a picture with friends. I've finally found a place here in San Diego that I can turn to for comfort food. Sitting on the patio, good, hot, flavored food, reggae tunes playing from inside the open door restaurant. The sounds of Caribbean voices. I'm so good now... Thank you all for a great meal.

All in gonna say is : Fridays,Fridays Fridays! This is the spot to be when you want that Jamaican feel going into the weekend.apart from the island scenery, fridays (which is the best day) at rock steady gives you the feel of being in the islands more so on a Friday,no other spot in Cali does that.
